Amani - Saba Wing OC

Character's Name: Amani ('peace' in Swahili)

Crime and Sentence (if inmate): she is accused of poisoning her own cub, but it's not true. Amani loved her cub more than anything. but Amani was the only one in her small pride who ever dared to stop a bully from hurting other lionesses. the bully was extremely angry at her, and when Amani was hunting, she killed the cub. when Amani came back from the hunt, she looked everywhere, but she couldn't find her cub. when she finally got back to her cave, horribly sad, there were 2 cheetah's (detectives), who found poisonous plants in her cave. Amani told them she didn't kill her cub, but they didn't believe her. she is sentenced to prison for a few years.
Personality: Amani is extremely kind-hearted, loving, sweet and social. She's emotional and isn't afraid of crying. She seems pretty shy if you first meet her, and will usually wait for others to become friends with her, instead of saying hello herself. But if you get to know her, Amani is funny, happy and seems carefree. Her past sometimes bothers her though. That's why she sometimes is really sad or paranoid. Amani is strong, but she will never use her strength when she doesn't have to. Amani is pretty young, and she sometimes acts like that too. but on the other hand, she's wise when she has to be. she's also very caring for her friends, and HATES bullies and liars. she's never afraid of stopping bullies, even if that means she'll get hurt or punished. yeah, she is very aggressive towards that kind of lions/lionesses, no matter if they're officers or inmates. she doesn't see prison as 'them and us' ('Officers and Inmates')
History/Backstory: already told a lot at 'Crime and Sentence (if inmate):', but also important: the cub she lost was her first cub. she lived in a small pride, and was a normal hunter. This is a specific moment of the RP. Amani tells Uzuri about her past: ''No, i'll be fine.'' said Amani. ''But i think i do need to talk about it. You see, before i got here, when i was still a cub, i lived in a pride with my mom and dad, the king and queen of that pride. We were so happy together, and it was just perfect. But then, at an evening, i lay beside my mom and dad. Then, a member of the pride came in. She had a crazy, horrifying look in her eyes. That lioness said to my father, who stood up, that he was weak and stupid, and that he had to either step down or fight. Then she began to swear, even about me. My father couldn't take it any longer, so he told her to stop immediately. But the lioness attacked him! My mother immediately stood up to help him, and she told me to go outside and hide. I heard a lot of screaming but as young as i was, i didn't really understand what was going on, but i did hide in a cave nearby. After a while, i heard nothing anymore, so i went back. The only things i saw were my mother and my father, with wounds everywhere. I ran towards them, but i was too late. They were already dead.'' Amani looked down. this was the first time that she ever told this story to anyone, and she didn't even KNOW this lioness. ''That lioness did exactly the same as Uangaze, swearing and attacking, and my mum tried to hold her down, like the officers. but SHE wasn't strong enough...''

Well, after Amani cried for a while, she got up and slowly walked to the exit of her home. Her previous home. She ran off without looking back, knowing that the evil lioness who had killed her parents, wouldn't have mercy if she'd ever find Amani. After a few hours, the little cub was exhausted. she lay down, crying like she never cried before. Then she looked up at the stars, and suddenly felled less lonely. She remembered her dad telling her stories about the great kings of the past, looking down on them from those stars. And maybe it was her imagination, or maybe it was real, but she saw 2 new stars, shining bright, and she knew she would never be alone.
